CITY ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL GRAND OPENING OF THE HOT SPOT SKATE PARKThe Hot Spot Skate Park located at 339 Union Street will be holding it’s official Grand Opening event on Saturday, October 10 beginning at 11:00 a.m. and will remain open until 11:00 p.m.
After opening remarks from the Mayor, the day will be filled with demos by professional skate boarders, contests, give-aways, skateboarding for youth/adults, and much more!
The City of Spartanburg and the Coalition for Active Youth are very grateful for the supporters of the new Hot Spot Skate Park. Without their support, the skate park would never have been possible. The Hot Spot Skate Park is managed and operated by the City of Spartanburg Parks and Recreation Department.
