The Stone Soup Storytelling Festival committee will be sponsoring storytelling during the Spartanburg celebration of local talent, Spartanburg Creative Tastes. Stop by their site on Morgan Square near the Lemonade Stand during "the Tastes" to enjoy tales and poetry with performers Rixon Lane, Evelyn Parks, Dixie Page, Mary Dell Fletcher, Moody Black, and Johnny Weaver. The Stone Soup Storytelling Festival, declared "the Storytelling Festival of South Carolina" by the General Assembly, is held in Woodruff annually.
